Why DINITROL PVC PA 283 02?
PVC PA 283 02 has been specially developed for grouting, sealing and levelling out before powder coating. It is used in mechanical engineering and vehicle construction, such as for agricultural and construction machinery, but also by OEM automotive manufacturers and vehicle construction.
PVC PA 283 02 is very popular with users due to its easy handling – it is easy to apply, remove and shape. The product is characterised by its intrinsic strength, also enabling the material to be used in larger or vertical joints and retains its intended shape.
The main advantage of the product is that PVC PA 283 02 does not need to be pre-cured before powder coating, but can be coated immediately after application. The component can then be placed in the oven immediately, as there is no need to pre-cure the seam sealant. This saves time and energy and reduces the costs per component!
Optimal application of DINITROL PVC PA 283 02
1. Clean
The surfaces should be free of grease. No special treatment is required.
2. Seal
The product is applied using a cordless applicator or air gun and suitable dispensing nozzles.
3. Powder coating
The powder coating is applied immediately after sealing the components. Pre-curing is not necessary!.
4. Burn-in
Burn-in – PVC PA 283 02 is cured together with the powder coating – in just one work step!

| Application | The workpieces to be sealed are usually pretreated in a cleaning/degreasing system before powder coating. This means that no further cleaning or mechanical treatment of the workpieces is required before sealing with DINITROL PVC PA 283 02. The nozzle tip should be cut to size depending on the intended application. Apply with a suitable compressed-air or battery gun (if used from hobbocks, please contact DINOL). |
